Howdy,

Two questions regarding fragging & fragplugs:

1) I have frag plugs that frags have died on, and algae grew on the plugs you can see the algae green leftovers - these plugs have been out of water for months, do I need to white vinegar clean them or are all algae spores etc dead?

2) Do you guys typically wet frag plugs before gluing frags on?

1- just use new plugs. They are so cheap.

2-yes wet, and then dry with paper towel.

I think you can rinse them in peroxide at whatever concentration they use to treat hair algae on rocks. Never done but hth.
