Sadly, we only had 4-5 reef people show up. There were over 400 people there buying reptiles, and probably another 100+ buying freshwater stuff, so it's not like word didn't spread. We will limit next year's event to a single reef vendor.

I wish I had heard about this. Have you guys thought about putting out flyers or is there a way to tag the VT based members directly on the forum? I always check the pin boards at pet advantage etc.. Would of been happy to just show up and support.

I didnt even realize there was a reptile expo either to be fair.

I commonly see adds for the shows in NY, so it's strange I wouldn't have been targeted for anything related to this

Not to my knowledge. This forum is also a very small segment of the reef community. We did do Facebook ads, which brought in probably 100 or so people, but clearly missed the reef keepers in the area.

We did, I wasn't the one who put them out, so I'm not sure where they ended up. We'll likely do some "political campaign" type of signs on roadsides around the area next year.

Unfortunately, both our coral vendors can no longer make it, so this year will probably be a bust for reefers, sadly.
