Bare bottoms are easier to keep clean, but sand is needed if you want to keep a wrasse inside.

Tiger Trochus (true trochus snails) are pretty great. I'd start with only a few, like 4-5. That's all you need at first.

Money Cowries are also pretty amazing, they literally eat EVERYTHING... Even bryopsis and other stuff. But they're very hard to find and a little expensive (but worth it).

I wouldn't put in too many at once. If you were to find a pair of money cowries and 6 trochus half of them would probably starve.
