So looks as if I'll be getting my shop back sooner than I originally thought! Which is awesome!! I've already got a few tanks sitting waiting for them to be moved into the space. So I'm starting this thread to keep track of the progress on my new small scale farm. The shed it 40ft by 20ft divided into 2 sections. Still debating how I want to set up the filtration, I have a 65 gallon and a 55 gallon that I plan on using as a mother colony system, a nuvo 25 and a jbj 20 I plan on using for most likely softies, they both are all in ones, a 55 lowboy that's drilled. I'm tempted to run the 55 65 and the other 55 all on the same sump, but I'm not sure just yet if that's the route I'm going to go, I have a 20 gallon bio wheel sump and a 29 gallon tank set up as a sump, if I stick the 3 tanks together It may he best to try get a 40 breeder and use that as a larger sump, but again, not 100% sure. Lights, I have a few viparspectras I could use. I have a bunch of t5 and t8 bulbs my lfs gave me but would need to look for fixtures. Another option I thought of was doing metal halide lights as I know they are known for good growth. So may go that route then supplement with some blue leds. Anyone got advice?
