I have a Dragon’s soul favia that isn’t doing too well. There’s one surviving polyp surrounded by dead coral. Can I frag the surviving polyp? Any tips?
I’m doing much better with the tank now since I got this frag 6 months ago. I’m now dosing 2 part, feeding reefroids, and doing RedSea’s coral nutrition A&B. The surviving polyp has been doing well for a while but I feel it can’t expand if it’s surrounded by dead corals. Should I use my dreamel diamond disc to cut the dead polyps? Do I cut under the poly too or leave it as is?
