This might be a dumb question but when your fragging a chalice do you have to cut a piece with an eye on it? Will it survive if you frag a piece of the chalice that does not have an eye? This is my first time fragging a chalice, so any advice would be helpful thanks!

this might be a silly question - but why would you be fragging a chalice with less then an eye - the "eye" is the mouth - it would be nice if it could get N and P from food stuff - symbiotic algae are a carbon (carbohydrate) souce but not amino acid or fatty acids
