Fragging zoas imbedded in large rock

I have big rock. Big rock has zoas. Me want some zoas for another tank. Me only have hammer and bone cutters. How me do this?

Tank sleepy time when pictures took.

One side of rock. Very holey.

Other side/top of rock. Me want bit of everything

hi,hammer chisel,hand and eye protection,wash hands many times,be aware of palytoxin ,do not touch eyes or mouth ,remember caution!!!

If they have long stems, I've been successful just snipping them as close to the base as possible, in the water, then covering the cut completely with superglue when remounting. I only do a few at a time just in case they are releasing anything bad.

You can do what was mentioned in the way of snipping the zoa... but I would chip away at the rocks with the hammer and chisel and bone cutter then once you get to the colonies you can cut a few off

Can't speak about the zoas and palytoxin, but wear a mask when using a dremel on a material you don't want in your lungs. Which is, presumably, most of them. For the record, breathing wood and elk antler is not pleasant.
