So I recently changed lighting on my DT. I was thinking about adding my old light to my sump which is just a 27 gal tank to help my Chaeto grow and maybe throw some frags down there as well. Good/bad idea? Any pics or suggestions where anyone is currently doing this or have in the past?

Hey there!

It can be done and has been done! I've done it myself. Do you have a refugium? You could also just attach a small frag rack to the side in there. Be careful the chaeto will attach to your frag plugs if you're not careful.

This was a local guy with his water box. I’m planning on using the return chamber of my trigger sump for frags
