It's all one layer of MDF, trim is done? Just put something together so it look some what ok. But normal wood putty and sandpaper for the joints. Needs a touch up after bringing the stand in it got some scratches :(
Sold my LEDs so I'm waiting for my new ones before I set it up and take new pics.
Well I guess the mess and the scratches on the stand cause my brother couldn't lift his side of the tank up, there for I had to put my side on (that scratched it to hell) first!! Than help him :(
But I got my new LEDs today :) but I don't think I'll be hanging them till the weekend. They are nice and I can't wait!!! 2 36" Cree LEDs
Little story- I sold my 200 gal. tank to a Asian guy (ya know their people small) and he brought 4 friends take it out the his truck. On the steps, two on one end was about to drop the tank and were talking their language all excited in terror, so I moved them away and took over by myself and help load it into the truck, and these guys could not believe,... my strength (I'm a fairly strong man)saying in English, "he strong,...he strong" !!! lol,...it was so frickin funny !!!
Inside the house, my wife was laughing her *** off.
Anyway bud, if it bothers you, just sand a little and stain them scratches. Assuming you're not a professional carpenter, I think it looks great,...and you did it yourself !!!
The sconces are a great finishing touch. Is it all mdf construction or some plywood ?
I can't wait to hear how the lights work and look.
So, pat yourself on the back, I am ! (can you feel it) lol :hand:
