Thanks!! It doesn't seem to photo well with the new rock, it kinda looks like a coral humanoid hunched over pulling in winnings at a vegas table.

The scape seems to change every year. I should put up old pics in a timeline.

Lol! You totally should! I absolutely love awkward tanks and I can't be the only one!! [emoji16][emoji1303]

Time to redo scape, ONE LAST TIME!!!! I think I need one more rock under the arch. That should do it.....

All sps growing, encrusting and sloooooooooooooooooooowly getting color back. Except the last ones, they came from a local (amazing) reef and never lost the color.

My corals seem to look the same with the blue lights on or off. The big difference to me is that the rock looks more blue and that is weird and distracting to me.

Mmmmm a Gel-O-Yellow shot

Super obvious with the blurring effect but a great way of showing those hard to see corals in blue light

Thanks!!! I hated the top shelf cause of the big shadow but as the corals grow out it will really be nice.

I changed the bulbs, seals and lense this weekend. Caused A spike in pH from the extra light from more photosynthesis or from increased flow. Currently I have the pH stable at 8.3 high 8.17 low with an avg of 8.2, dkh a stable 9.2 up from 8 and calcium 400 from 700. I accidentally let dkh go to 11 for a week and cal to 380 but 2 weeks later it’s all good.

I’ll find and link the emergency post in here, since then I’ve been dealing with the aftermath of 1l of soda ash solution dosed after a human and equipment combined error.

I finally put my Corals back in my tank. Here’s a night shot, I’ll post my day shot when I get one. This has a slight orange filter (algae barns version) to see through the blue. It does warm up the oranges and reds but looks close enough without using softwear.

I don’t know what the red is on the rock, top right. I’ll see if it’s just the filter or if there is some algae on them. That is the only peice of man made rock I have.
