Not Bloodworms. California blackworms. Quick Google search will tell you everythingNever heard of it, what is a blackworm? You are not talking about Bloodworm?
No, those aren't going to work for a picky fish like CBB. Try these:
Noting that for later.Discus.com has great freeze dried black worms that all my fish love and they relatively cheap
Why wouldnt they work? Too small? I dont have a plank but have been thinking about getting one.Noting that for later.
What I'd really love are frreze dried black worms that would work in an Avast Plank!
They may have some nutritional benefits but not as much as the whole live worm.Freeze dried blackworms have the same nutritional values. They are easier to use as well since you aren't purchasing and/or culturing live worms.
The ones I have are in freeze dried cubes. I think the same company has bulk freeze dried loose worms, but I haven't tried that yet. Would need to be loose and small enough to enter into the Plank's auger without crunching up to dust. Too big and it will just sit on top while the auger turns. Why wouldnt they work? Too small? I dont have a plank but have been thinking about getting one.
I do feed live black worms about every 2 weeks.
