I bought a rainbow chalice, size bigger than my palm. LFS say it's fresh from farm so the color is pale. I took the bet and bought it. Color and pattern is very similar to rainbow crush, just pale. Pink instead of orange red, greyish blue instead of blue, can barely see the rim color.

Appearly, it is still settling in from shipping, a bit flesh off from the rim. Will this chalice get the color or it's just a low grade rainbow chalice? Time will tell, but I'm just too excited to find a piece this size.

I try to get a good pic posted later on. Thanks

well, hate to break it to you but the pink will stay pink. Chalices stressed from shipping is usually brown and dull in color, but will not be a lighter shade of color. Does it have yellow eyes?

To the contrary I have seen a pale green chalice gain colour back, it took a long time for it to go from whitey green to a paler green, and Is still deepening in colour

Thanks guys. Here is the crappy phone pic. I will grab my cam and more light later. Little lazy right now.. ^^
It has yellow eyes, some yellow+green, pale pink base, green and blue stripes. Colors will stay? shipping stress? or LED shock from LFS?
