freshwater dip for zoa

i have a frag of some mars alien zoos that my wife bought me. it has a tiny aiptasia on it. I am planning on giving it a freeshwater dip to kill the aiptasia. how long should i dip it for. was planning on using rodi brought up to tank temp

Should just super glue it or cut it off and rinse it after if it’s on a frag, then you’re not bugging the zoas as much if it’s just one tiny one

Freshwater dip to kill aiptasia? Maybe a few months in the freshwater will do the trick.....

It seems to be on the zoanthid mat... it's a small frag with small polyps.. but it doesn't seem like it's on the same substrate as the polyps

I would scrape it off with that part of the mat. The zoas should be fine. Can you post a pic of the frag?

The zoas will die in that dip long before the apistasia. Like others have said scrape it off and rinse well. Ideally have a QT tank to put it in so you can make sure it is really gone.
