Hello,

I am a ten AI household (5 Hydra 26Hd, 2 prime HD, and 3 Hydra 52HD).

On November 22, 2017 I purchased these three Hydra 52 HD. I filled out an RMA Monday but not sure I did the right thing.

At the time, one half of the light pucks lacked the whites. Otherwise it functioned fine. Now, it’s completely dead and I smell fried electronics it does not work at all.

When I plug it in to another power source for the other Hydra 52HD, nothing happens. When I plug it in to its normal power source I get a green blinking light and nothing on the unit itself.

Unfortunately it was my master unit as well. I guess I’m probably out of the one year warranty but I also am very disappointed that I got 1.5 years of use out of the unit.

My previous ReefBrite XHO I used for 6 years without issue on the same tank. These are expensive lights for this to happen to, in my opinion.

Until this point I’ve been a happy AI customer and I’m quite unhappy right now.
