Hey guys,

I'm just doing some research on fry food and was wondering if frozen rotifers were also sufficient for raising various species of fry. I guess specifically the Hikari brand.

Or are they too large and/or not being live would that not entice the fry?

I have some hesitancy simply from my experience with breeding fresh water species and needing live BBS versus frozen.

Thanks,

For many fish, the feeders (in this case, rotifers) need to be live to entice the larvae to eat. Some easier to rear species may accept frozen feeders or powdered feeds though.
