Hey all,

For sale is my Reef Octopus 150 INT. It’s about 4 years old and has always worked flawlessly. Unfortunately, after 4 years of success, I made a small mistake during a water change and wiped out my entire tank. I'm currently switching the whole set up to a freshwater/ aquaponic system. Pretty fun project, but no need for the marine specific equipment. $100 OBO for the skimmer

Also for sale I have approximately 100 lbs of dry rock. It’s a mix of Tampa bay Saltwater, and Marco rocks. $100 for the lot.

Also a Sicce power head. Not sure on the size, but it’s larger than most. $25

Located in Portland.

Is the skimmer still available? Just out of curiosity, why did you do that caused your tank to crash?

Yes, it’s still available.

Stupidly I did a large water change with water that was too hot. The thermometer that I was using was 5 degrees off and cooked everything . Luckily my son’s tank is still healthy and I saved about half the corals.
