Hi All,

Looking for opinions. Is it pertinent to have the same pumps on both sides of your tank?

A back story, I have a IM 25 Lagoon and the one of the 130gph pump that came with it died. IM won’t honor the warranty since I purchased it on Facebook marketplace and the invoice doesn’t match my shipping address.

IM sells the replacement pump for 60 bucks but takes forever to ship. Petco has a 90GPH in stock for much cheaper. Wasn’t sure if it was “safe” to mix pumps.

Thanks!
