Fungia badly damaged...help

I added my Fungia about 6 weeks ago. It was always puffed up and ate anything that came within reach. Everything was great until I came home yesterday and was horrified to find that it's mouth was completely gone. It looked as if some tentacles were missing too.

What should I do? Pull it before it dies and nukes the whole tank? Some kind of dip or antibiotic of sorts to help it pull thru? There is a very tiny portion of its mouth left.

I am assigning blame on either my skunk cleaner shrimp (added 8 weeks ago) or peppermint shrimp (added 4 months ago). Leaning more on the pep since I yanked him out last night. Any advice from experience would be great.

If it doesn't pull through on it's own, make sure you leave the skeleton in your tank. Fungia will often regrow polyps out of dead skeletons!

Do you have pic of the coral? The peppermint might have grabbed food from it but I wouldn't put the blame on him fully. An iodine dip might help to prevent infection.

I didn't think to grab a pic when I noticed the damage done. It does look like it's going to pull thru though. I'll going to feed it tonight and see how well it reacts. I did notice that my blasto and it's acan neighbor are both looking more puffed up than before. I still have suspicions that it was the pep shrimp. I think the QT might be his new home. Thanks for the advice all.
