Which one should I prefer for my soft-lps tank ?

With those dimensions, I would definitely go with the XR30 Pro, for a single-light solution.

* The 2 x pucks in the XR30 will cover the rectangular area better
* The XR30 has double the wattage you can take advantage of, giving you flexibility to add light-demanding corals if you want later
* You can program the light to have more natural spectrum during non-viewing hours (I find the 100% all-channel spectrum to be exceptional for color rendering in corals), and utilize the heavy-blue spectrum for viewing hours.

I have used both lights, and this is my take. Let me know what other questions you have

If you go with xr30. I have a brand new gen5 in box never opened still sealed with rms mount I could save you some money on.
