Hey guys, been a while since I've been active here and thought I would take you all along on my new adventure! After seeing everyone setting up new Waterbox tanks I had to have one for myself. This will be my fist dive into nano life as my other two tanks are a 75 gallon mixed reef and a 40 breeder which houses several BTAs and two small maroon clowns. The plan is to move the livestock from the 40 to the 20 and to part ways with the 40 as the 75 is quickly becoming SPS dominate and takes up most of my free time. I figured a 20 gallon would be the best route for easier maintenance while still allowing room for several anemones and time before the clowns outgrow the setup.
Equipment
Waterbox 20 gallon cube AIO
AI Prime HD
Stock return pump (will upgrade to sicce down the road)
Hydor nano powerhead
ATO from 40 gallon
Apex Jr from 40 gallon
The tank will be bare bottom,I placed an order with Tampa Bay Saltwater for 25lbs of live rock and can not wait for it to arrive!
I am getting this tread started late as the tank has been wet for about a week now, but I will try to stay on top of the updates now.
Not to shabby for an amature DIY project
Been adding the good stuff every other day for about a week now. Today I took the provided bio balls that have been marinating in the sump of the 75 and put them in the Waterbox.
