So after a long wait busy with work and then mentally not ready to get started I’m finally ready to get this tank started

So my initial tank was a 150 cube that actually sprung a leak I decided to purchase another standard custom built by Coast to Coast 60x24x24 with brace.

Overflow:
I decided to drill overflow myself ( which was part of my delay) after a lot of research decided to go with a 1800gph Modular Marine overflow
Still debating on drilling return line
Sump will be Trigger Triton 44V2 sump so my total volume should be about 180gallon

I went with a custom built stand painted white and no canopy I love the open glass look so I will go with a floating hang on Aquatic life Hybrid lights and 2 atinic reef brite lights

Looking good!

Did you drill a return line on either side of the tank? I am thinking of doing the same to reconfigure my stands overflow / returns.

I decided to do one seeing how that works. Thinking of just one, but will include a option to add a second just in case

Plumbing I must say sucks since I am dry fitting and wedging everything to get measurements figuring where to add unions or gate valves even adding a manifold

I been patiently waiting for other pieces to get this plumbing completed

So looking for Ideas: so I am using aquatic hybrid lights mixed with some leds my ceiling is way too high to high to use hanging clips was wondering Of other option then using the poll to hang the lights?

Well let’s update from what I have been up too.
So I updated the look kept to the scheme of grey and white so touched up all the valves. Added a manifold into the systems and decided to go with a varios 8.

I also needed to jump the gun and relocate and setup this tank and get this build going . So tested everything out had only issues with the overflow leaking so I decided to seal and that for sure did the trick

Control center still needs to be corrected and wired properly but mostly everything is going smoothly

Sump is working the way I want it. Will be adding some more live rock into the sump. And finally work on plumping the rest (54watt uv and placement. Going to connect the chiller as well just in case) thinking of adding a fan bellow as well

Also excuse the wires

All ball valves are a arm length away equally the same with the unions other than the 3 on the overflow box which I am hoping never to touch unless I am taking down the tank
