Garden eels and crabs

I have a bubble algae outbreak in my garden eel tank. I want to get some emerald and/or pitho crabs. Anyone know if either of these species harass garden eels? I'd be super upset if a crab started getting aggressive with Shaquille The Eel, Eel Patrick Harris, James Eel Jones or Billy Eelish.

I can't give you a direct answer to your question, but I can tell you, I've had a lot of emerald crabs and they range in temperament wildly.

Yeah. I had one that used to nip tentacles off of a BTAs. Which has me worried about them harassing garden eels.

I usually try to avoid crabs as I've also had an emerald that picked at acro polyps.
