Well I decided to switch my bulb combo to: front to back. I have 2 - 8×54w ATI dimmable fixtures.

Ouch ... sorry to hear of those losses, but mightily impressed by your determination to bring 'er back from that abyss!

The corals look healthy, and the tank looks happy - you'll have it back to magnificence in no time.

It has almost been a year since i have been on here. After hurricane Erma i lost about 8-10k worth of corals and fish, bc loss of power. Eventhough i had a power converter to plug into my car and run an extension cord to run the return pump. So ilthe tank converted into a fish only for the last 10 months. Loss a few family members and my 2 boxers, so slowly but surely getting coral back in the tank. I changed the lighting from the 2 48in ATI's to 4 AI hydra 52 HD's. Going to get a few more I think in the next few months. Below are just some random pictures of the tank and the fish/corals now and my 9 month old male boxer "Zeus"

I have the exact same setup stand and all, well not that canopy. Heck i even have orange and blue PVC pipes, lol. I havent had an issue with glasscages or this tank at all. When I win the powerball maybe a different tank .
