Hello everyone,

After some time watching my 25g tank decaying, I went back to my former love : a smaller tank holding nearly 8g.
I kept only the livestock I really cared about (aka the acan and the lobo) and sold the rest. I made the change some months ago and I guess it's time to share the result.

Here the setup :
- 8g Viv AIO tank
- sicce nano return pump
- temp controller + heater
- cheap ATO
- AI hydra 52 (a bit too much, but didn't want to sell it)

This volume allows me a better maintenance. The clowns mostly hide in their nems, they only leave them to eat and to bite my hand. So far everything seems to thive.

Bad clowns

It's been a while, the tank didn't change much for months, except that I had to unglue the acans to separate them from the ever growing/splitting nems.
However 3 weeks ago, my area was hit by a storm : one the clown died right away, then a 36h power outage took care of the remaining one, the urchin and snails.
This is the first of something this magnitude occured, and the power company kept delaying their estimation. Of course it was over the weekend, I bought a battery as soon as possible. It saved the corals and nems at least.

Fast forward today :
- after a bit of algae growth and some hesitation (keeping the same display or switching nems for corals), I decided to keep going
- bought back 2 clowns, snails, hermits and a urchin (mostly babies)

This is the current state of the tank, not everything is back at 100% (except aglaes).
I will try to update with a better frequency this thread.

Glad to see the tank is still going strong!
