Hi guys, I've been reefing now for eight years and with all that time It would seem, I figured out quite a few things. Heaps of reading and listening, trying my best to be patient and not be impulsive... however the latter was pretty hard to do considering all the pretty things out there.

So I recently decided to go a bit bigger from my previous 3x2x2 tank to a 4footx500hx700d tank.
All starfire
Ghost weir
Twin duro standpipe for silent running
Single large 200 micron sock
Jebao D700 skimmer
Chaeto section
Siporx noodles
Jebao silent speed variable return pump
Lights are Radion G4 XR30 Pro's x2
Top up is RO fed to the tank via two containers using a float valve, that then again drain to the sump with float valve.
Hailea 300A chiller
Two STC-1000 contrlollers, one for evap fan and heater #1, and 2 for chiller and heater #2(backup)
15W UV
2 x dosing pumps, 1. ALK,CAL,MAG,Seachem trace 2. Red Sea colors A,B,C,D

Stand built myself out of steel and powder coated black.
Cabinet made from pine and stained.
Added castor wheels to move that tank when empty.
Four height adjustable feet to keep the tank level and the weight off the wheels.

Feet can take 50kg each.

hinge brackets for the drop down tray

All the cables and power supplies go in here on top of the tray.

Cabinets are crazy expensive... I do it myself.

Plumbing

Sump, then had two socks but I found I only needed one so I modified it and now only run one sock.
