So I have finally decided that even though my friend at my LFS had gave me tons of information and help, it was time to come to a bigger pool of information, and more personal touch on this hobby, that is becoming a lifestyle for me.
A little information about me:
I'm 22.
I live in Yakima WA.
I have had a Freshwater 55 gal setup with just about every compatible fish I could for about a year now.
I have just started my 40 gal (breeder) Saltwater tank. (about 4 months up now.)
Also, got a 10 gallon saltwater tank that's been up for about 2 months, it's just saltwater, sand, a light and a heater right now (taking it very slow)
I really like taking care of the fish. Making sure they are stress-free, living beside each other in a comfortable area I provided, and scaped for them.
This took me by surprise when a friend gave me a 10 gallon tank for fun. I loved the idea of the tank, but about a week later I had the opportunity to get a 55 gallon tank, with stand and a package deal containing everything I'd possibly need, for 50 bucks. I instantly got it, and went straight home to set it up in my apartment. That was a year ago. I got my girlfriend into it. She loves and supports it, and helps me with everything.
So I heard this was a very good community, and I have asked to join you. Givin' I wont be tons of help to begin with, as I am here asking for help. But I retain information well, and will follow the rules.
