Has anyone ever tried to modify a Coralife biocube carbon filter by opening one of the 4 little compartments, removing the carbon and adding GFO, and resealing it?

Just a thought: Wouldn't using a fine mesh media bag in a high-flow area of a chamber be easier than opening anything up? Not that your suggestion 'couldn't' work.

I mean sure, if you wanna be ‘easy’ about it, but since when is anything in this hobby easy?:grinning-squinting-face:

I LIKE your attitude. You will go far in this hobby. ;)

P.S., I see you are from Long Island. It's nice to have 'class' on the site.
