Hi i got a 75 gal fowlr ,thinking about adding a GFOreactor , not knowing much about one lookn for some input as what size will be needed and flow rate need to keep phosphate under contro and will this do it

Phosphate is generally not something you put on auto pilot.

The GFO is very effective at adsorbing PO4. If you check the outflow of the reactor, you can tell when the GFO is used up. The outflow PO4 concentration starts out being near zero PO4 when the GFO is fresh to being the same as that of the aquarium water when it peters out. Flow through the reactor is adjusted to prevent the GFO becoming a settled mud cake, but not so fast to cause the particles to tumble into dust. The size of the reactor determines how often you need to change the spent GFO. You can’t really screw this up. Manufacturer recommendation is a good starting point for size. If you are limited in space or cash, go smaller. There are no rules about how often to change the GFO. You need to measure the PO4 of the outflow.

I can say that my 3.5-inch (outside diameter) reactor with a Sicce Syncra 0.5 fluidizes the GFO bed almost perfectly with the pump and the reactor sitting inside the sump. If I was doing an external reactor, I would probably go up to the Sicce Syncra 1.0 and even my existing set-up could probably take a 1.0. I only add 12 heaping teaspoons at a time, so the bed is relatively shallow to keep it fluidized. I find if I add more than that the lower bed does not fluidize. The reactor is an old Precision Marine which is very high quality (thick heavy acrylic with a screw on top) but unfortunately no longer made.

It would also be good to know what we're working with, both in terms of phos numbers and other filtration methods.

I use a large BRS reactor, but I had insanely high phos to deal with at the time. I'd probably use the smaller one now.

I missed this was a fowlr tank, except for potential algae issues lots of people don't worry about phos with fish only. Not saying you shouldn't and most of us don't like ugly rocks, but certainly less important.

I have two of the larger versions of this as I wanted to run carbon seperately.
