I am setting up a 26gal. reef tank. Water, sand, and rock are in. Cleaning crew established. gH is 180ppm and kH is 240ppm, pH is 8.5ppm, no2 is 0, and no3 is 0. I'm thinking this is ok but hoping for reassurance. Any help or ideas?

Not sure exactly what gH and kH is, but here's what I go by.

Temperature: between 75° and 83° F and constant - Should not move more than two degrees in one day
Ammonia: 0 ppm - Toxic to livestock if not 0
Nitrite: 0 ppm - Toxic to livestock if not 0
Nitrate: 0.0-30 ppm - Can be toxic to livestock if too high
pH: between 8.1 and 8.4 - 8.2 is ideal
Alkaline: between 8 and 12 dKH
Specific Gravity: 1.025
Phosphate: 0
Calcium: 425-450 ppm
Magnesium: 1,300 ppm
Iodine: 0.06 ppm
Strontium: 5-15 ppm

Your Ph, no2, and no3 all look good-although ph is on the higher side just so you know.
I have never measured my Kh in ppm. So I do not know the conversion. But I try to keep mine between 8-10 but I know others go higher up to 12-13.
So if you can convert your numbers and compare them. But it looks OK to me.

And BTW- WELCOME!

luvmyacans:
KH is also ALK in a different measuring form. And GH = General Hardness more of a FW thing.

1ppm= 0.056dkh
so 240 x 0.056=13.44dKH
your KH is a bit high and so is your ph. i would venture off and say that your KH is bringing your ph up

Yeah, I concur. That Alk is a bit high. I think mine sticks around 8 right now. Be careful not to swing your Alk too much at one time, as that has been shown to give you problems with corals. Just keep in mind the motto of this hobby....slow and steady.

Yea your alk is a little on the high side. It should be between 8 and 12, so lower it slowly and you should be fine.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
