Hi all getting conflicting id on this. Some say gha some say lyngbya majiscula

Any more thoughts

No3 4.8
Po4 0.03

Both were around 0 though on tests
Gave flux rx till day 10 and nothing and just kept growing back

Looks like lyngbya to me. Does it blow off easily with no root left behind?

Here is a recent thread of someone who is actually getting it to slowly go away.

I don't think it's either. I had a strain that looked eerily similar and it was definitely bryopsis mixed with gha. Tried everything cause I thought it was turf. Vibrant/algaefix did nothing, lowering nutrients did nothing, 3 day blackout did nothing.

Treated fluconazole and 90% was gone is a few days. Rest of it gone in a couple weeks. It became pretty clear after the vibrant and a bunch of manual removal that the fern like shapes were just hidden in the long strands because there was more than one strain.
