I've had a Doser 3 SA and Doser 3 EXT for a month now. I have to cycle power every day to connect to the doser.

MOST DISAPPOINTING:
There is no provision to label each pump with the chemical names being dosed.

The application screens to calibrate the dosing pumps and enter the amount of liquid in each reservoir make no sense. For example entering data in one field labeled maximum changes to "min" when saved.

GHL support solved my labeling issue. There is a description field thI failed to notice. I'm still working with support to solve the dropping connection issue. For now I'm cycling power with a Hydros outlet t9 re-establish connectivity.

I just got the Doser 3 yesterday, but I haven't been able to get it online. Although customer support chimed in quickly and seemed to be efficient. There are software issues that strongly suggest these guys released a half-baked product, maybe with a lot of potential, but still half-baked. I use an iPhone and Mac computers at home, and they do not seem to be compatible, at least for firmware updates, although they claim otherwise. Will update

I want to chime in on my GHL experience, in case anyone's on the fence.

I bought the maxi 3 and the tubes around the pumps keep tearing. I've owned the pump for 3 months and both sides have torn and caused leaks. I have made sure to extra lubricate them after the first ripped open, but the 2nd still busted shortly after. I now have to check that their lubricated weekly and I'll be changing the tubes out everything 3 months.

They also sent me a broken leak interference and have yet to replace or refund me the part. I'm not too happy with GHL right now.

Totally agree!
I have had the doser 3.0 and 3.0 ext since April. The software update didn't work for the first 2 months. It is currently running version 1.03.
It does connect to WIFI but only for a couple of hours at a time. I eventually connected it to an outlet on my Hydros controller so I could remotely cycle power when I want to check on it.
A friend has another GHL product and eventually had to direct connect it via ethernet.
I find the pump settings screens to be confusing.

An update: I managed to connect only with. Windows pc using a usb and the doser needs to be calibrated and connected to the tank.. The firmware update that was supposed to work from a pc through usb crashed multiple times At least the service person at GHL is doing her best to help.
Anybody said Half baked?

What kind of router do you have?

I had trouble connecting via wifi because I have a mesh router. My router combines 2.4 & 5 wifi. In the settings of my router I'm able to turn that off for 30 minutes so only 2.4 shows. Once I did that my GHL was able to connect and I haven't had many issues with connecting after that.

2.4 has a longer distance compared to 5 so just be far enough from your router… Doser 3 has a firmware update that I failed to install. Maybe my pc is too old.
