Hello,

Im trying to make the p4 do something what I expected to be the most simple thing there is but I can't figure it out.
I want to be able to push a button on the profilux 4 (feed or maintanance or something else? ) witch activates a switched socket witch stays on until a level sensor is activated and only than turned off.

I want to fill a container with water and have a float switch on it to turn off the magnetic valve and boosterpump of the rodi unit.

The only way I can do something like this on the p4 is with programeble logic witch turns on a power socket when timer 1 AND level switch 1 is on (level inverted).
When I use maintanance instead of timer the maintanance overules.. so the float switch cant turn the socket off when it's turned on by the maintenance function.

This can be used (certainly not ideal) for the rodi tank but not for the salt water storage tank.....
I can't have it fill the tank on a timer when it is not empty yet.. I got auto awc...

Has any one an solution for this?

I have been looking for hours to make this work and 1 minute after this post i came up with the solution :p

I had the maintenance itself programed the switch the power socket witch overruled the programeble logic.

So now I have set a maintenance (nr3) that runs for a little longer than it takes for the tank to fill and on itself is programed to do nothing.
And in programeble logic I have made a program 2 where
the maintenance 3 with the level sensor 3 are on the AND mode.
And I have set the power socket on programeble logic 2.

Works like a charm :D

Haha thanks anyway.

Is there a way to get around the maintenance time limit?

I want to fill a container with 42 gal rodi but that takes over 300 minutes and the max time is 240 minutes :(

That sort of a safety feature for the maintenance feature. As you can I see it could turn into something bad fast if there wasn’t one. Getting in a hurry and forgetting to turn something back on or off. Wife’s get mad at water every where.
