Last Friday I received a frag of this and since receipt it's been drooped over and doesn't look great. I have a test frag of Xenia I added to the tank before buying the giant Xenia and the test frag is doing great. I ordered some other corals from the same supplier I received the giant Xenia from and all of those corals are doing great too. The only thing I thought was odd when I received the frag was that it wasn't shipped with carbon in the bag and the amount of water in the bag was not very much. Every other Xenia I've ever ordered came with carbon in the bag. Anyway, anyone have any ideas? It hasn't melted yet so there's still some hope but it really hasn't improved since it came in.

I don't know that I've ever received Xenia with carbon to be honest... But my giant Bali lays down every evening. Mine definitely seems to prefer pretty direct flow as well. I may have missed it if you mentioned it, but how long have you had it in the tank now?

That was a crazy quick reply 😁. Been in the tank since last Friday. A couple times I noticed it trying to pulse a little bit but other than that it's just laying over. It's in a fair amount of flow so I don't think flow is the issue? I've never had Xenia take this long to get going....seems they typically are fine after a day or two or melt pretty much right away.

Super late update on this. Coral looked horrible for a few days then started looking a bit better. Took about a week before it looked like it was going to survive and now it's doing great!
