Found in a housing canal estate waterway (saltwater), Looks like some kind of glassfish. Looking up glassfish, there seems to be many and all look very similar. Just curious as to which type it is. I have two, and they swim nicely together in the upper mid section of the tank.

Based on what I can see from online sources and my books, I would agree with the glassfish ID (Ambassis sp., possibly Abassis interrupta).

What was the location? If it was northern queensland or northern territory then A. interrupta is a good possibility, however if it was new south wales, victoria, south australia, or western australia then probably a different species of Ambassis.

Northern Queensand. Yes, I saw interrupta when I was searching around. I think that is what I'l go with. Thanks.
