Ok this is driving me crazy.. please help. I've had issues before, but worked through them. This is starting to get at me though...
Parameters been stable for months: calc 440, kh 9.0, nitrate usually 12 but now 0 thanks to bit of algae breakout inc. Phos 0.04. Salt today was higher at 35.8, but I'm going to recalibrate the ganna checker and try again later...
I dose ati essentials pro. Yesterday I out in a dise of fluconazole as I have bryopsis. OK thats the background.
My indo gold torch that went from 3 heads to 8 and has been thriving for a year, has lost two heads. Same foe my green torch. My hammer is also not out. Other 2 torches are not fully out either (maybe 50%). 4 frogspawn and a frammer in tank all look fine. Thriving candy cane with side next to gold torch losing all heads, other side fine. I though torch was stinging it. Now I feel there might be some common infection. I'll order an icp test kit today. Is this water params? Or could bacteria or a pest be the culprit? I include pics of torches with lost heads, both side of candy cane and a broader tank shot. Also my hammer which usually is out so much you can't see the base or rock. (Ugh as i zoom in on candy I noticed aiptasia too. Not had one in a while, my shrimp are usually effective. I'll deal with that today too). I'd appreciate any help ir opinions. Losing these are taking a real toll on my love for the hobby without finding a cause.
