you know you can always just do the upgrade from gen 1 to gen 3.

Having said that you will have to wait until the upgrade kits are back in stock.

I waited for like a month and half and still no upgrade kits. I've given up. lol

Call them, they have them. Ordered one Friday.
maybe they are taking orders over the phone, but they are still listed as unavailable on the web site.

It's worth the upgeade.
I'm pretty stoked on the new lights.

I've got two G2 radions for sale. Only used for 5 months @40% or less. .

I just upgraded my radions from gen 2 to gen 3. I honesty don't notice much of a difference lol maybe it's just me and I was expecting the light to turn the water into gold flakes

lol

What I noticed was the color difference in the blues, but it was only when I had a gen 1 and a gen 3 upgrade sitting side by side.
It changed the blue to more of a crisper blue is the only way I can describe it.

Yeah I'm sure going from gen 1 to 3 is a huge difference! And I'm sure my light does look different I just don't have anything to compare it to now lol I'll have to stare at it when I get home for a few hours

hah gold flakes woulda been nice!! I also dont have a comparison and thought about leaving a G2 up to do a sideXside, but didnt have the time to make it happen. While the difference from G1 to G3 Im sure is evident, the G2 toG3 is a bit brighter, more crisp blue and has the UV addition which I notice in my early morning/evening lighting.

Anyone know where I can get the gen 3 lens frame instead of ecotech? Their shipping kills.
