So, I just got a great deal on an ATI 48 Inch 6x54W SunPower: unit. I currently have LEDs over my 55 tank, and although the growth is good, the color can be better IMO. My parameters are all in check, so I know it's not bc of excess phosphates etc. I'm going to hang the lights 12" AWL and am going with the following combo:
Blue+
Blue+
Coral+
Purple+
Blue+
Blue+

Is there anything I should be concerned with in terms of acclimating corals to new light? I plan on running the lights for 8 hours a day with a one hour sunrise/sunset.

I just did the same thing. I have a ATI unit that should be here this week. As far as acclimation you have nothing to be worried about.
