Going to start fragging

I have a couple of coral I want to frag.

Mainly 2 of my leathers.

One is easy. It's a finger leather. I know it'll just drop babies. I can either band them to a rock or plug, or glue them. Easy.

Then there is this, what I'm assuming is a toadstool. I've never fragged one before. How is that done?

I'm going to read up on zoas and figure I'll start with the soft ones before moving on to others.

I'll have a dedicated tank to put them in after the fragging.

Same. Cut it up and band it to rocks or plugs.

It's def as big as my hand stretched out. I've had it for a couple months now and it's tripled in size

Any advice on zoas? I've heard you remove the mat from the plug/rock and glue. How though?

Two ways for zoas you can dremel between polyps to seperate
or
scalpel the mat between the polyps and then scrape the whole mat off by running the scalpel under them angled towards the plug. Only works good on plugs.

I literally frag everything with a diamond cutoff wheel dremel tool, a scalpel and a flatblade screwdriver lol.

Got it! Thanks. I only have a couple sps frags in my tank currently, so I won't be touching them for some time.
