I don't know exactly what just happened. I fed my fish about an hour ago. All seemed normal until I see my maroon clown vomit. Is this even possible or is there something to worry about?

what do you mean by vomit? did it just spit out some food or was it like actual vomit?

I should have said spit out food. All the pieces were whole for the most part. I fed ReefFrenzy. I've seen it happen as they were eating but it freaked out because it happened over an hour later and it seemed to be all off the food it ate.

is it stressed at all from what you can see? any hiding or other concerning behaviors? my clowns spit up a chunk of their food that they couldn't swallow right after they eat sometimes and seem to be perfectly healthy.

It seems fine. No hiding out anything swam around normal until lights out and now chilling in his anemone.

it could just be that it was too big a chunk for the clown to swallow or something- i'd maybe feed it a small bit of some smaller, bite-sized food and wait to see if it happens again.
