I have a 90 gallon with
Zebra eel 2’
Snowflake eel 12”
Threadfin snapper 6”
Blue throat trigger 5”
Marine beta 4”
Sargent major damsel 4”
Harlequin tusk 4”
Emperor angelfish 4”
Bi color angelfish 3”
Polleni grouper 3”
Purple tang 2”

And before anyone says something, these fish have been happily living together for a few months now, and I have a good filtration system, and plans for rehoming the fish that will get too big.

my questions are:
Could a gold spotted snake eel go in this tank?
What size should I get it at?
Any specific care recommendations that I should be aware of?
Will it outgrow this tank?
How fast do they grow?

thanks!

my questions are:
Could a gold spotted snake eel go in this tank?
A properly set up 90 gallon is fine.
What size should I get it at?
Whatever. They're pretty tough and not aggressive.
Any specific care recommendations that I should be aware of?
They need to be able to hide. They burrow in the wild but PVC pipe will suffice. I suggest 1" of at least 3' in length. You can use 45 degree bends but no more than that. Straight is preferable .
Will it outgrow this tank?
No. 3-4 foot max length. They do like to swim more than morays though.
How fast do they grow?
Very fast. Like all eels
Welcome!
