Good luck. Tried to pair multiple gold flakes with a nugget and 2 other gold flakes. One has to be substantially smaller than the other and not from same broodstock. Glad to rid myself of that murdering fish. Killed everything in my tank including a coral beauty and regal tang with those clowns

i have two goldflakes right now, one 2" and the other ~1.5". im planning on getting rid of the larger one and pairing the smaller one with a goldnugget. what do you think?
Which one was more aggressive in your experience, the flake or the nugget?

I tried to pair a female God Nugget with a significantly smaller Goldflake, the Goldflake nearly lost it's life...I even tried moving them into a breeders cup for a week, but once they made it back in my display, the female tried to kill the other.

Old thread, but have had a lightening Maroon for a couple years. Vicious fish. I just added a MONSTER Goldflake. Lightening went to attack, but retreated instantly. When adding a clown, maroons in particularly, add a monster sized one that can win an onslaught. [emoji6]
