Goni vs zoa war?

My Zoa rock has been largely taken over by super fast spreading pink/gold and nirvana zoas. I’d like to put a few goni frags in there. Would you expect the gonis to sting their way to enough space if I just plop them down among the zoas?

Hard to say as each tank is different.

But if you can raise a plug in the zoa garden that would work.
