Hi Reefers,
I have done a ICP Test last week and just got my results today.
Just a little background of what is happening.I have a mixed reef of SPS and LPS. All corals are doing fine but the only ones giving me headaches are my red and green goniopora and 1 alvapora. Red Goniopora has been with me for 8 months green goniopora 2 months and alvapora 2 weeks.Red Gonoipora open well with polyps extended for the 1st 3 months and after that till now all you can see is the polyp heads fully open but not extended. The same thing happened to my Green Goniopora after 2 weeks and now my Alvapora after 1 week.
This is the 1st ICP test I have done. My Tank is 11 months old. So results show my Iron levels very high at 10ug/l Copper at ug/l Iodine a little low at 23ug/l. Everything else is good.
My other parameters are
KH 7.7-8.0
PH 8.15-8.25
Ca 440
MG 1373
SG 1.025
Nitrate 2.9
Po4 0.049 mg/l
So my question is, which of the problems identified on the ICP test is causing my Gonis to behave this way? I have read that they consume a fair amount of Maganese but the test shows 1ug/l.
Any Thoughts?
