Depends honestly lol. I've seen it expand to i'd say almost 2", reason I'm getting rid of it, is my diamond goby likes to bury my frags, he hasn't buried the plate yet, but he's always around it, so it never gets to fully expand. Its quite healthy and beautiful, just until I get this goby out of the tank, I don't want anymore coral on the sandbed.

However I'm actually going to pause all of this for sale. We just had the hurricane go through here and I'm not sure how the postal offices (fedex, ups) are handling things, so I'd rather just not ship livestock right now. Thanks.
