I have a Reef Synergy triton sump that doesn't have mechanical filtration. I wanted to add something so I can run floss or filter pad instead of tying a sock around the drain line. Filled out a quote form on Octo's site requesting a filter tray, got an email back the same day to iron out specifics.

Works great, fair price, quick delivery, overall a seamless transaction. Thanks @cromag27!

Hey bro,

That is a slick set up. Never would have thought about that. Great idea.

That is giving me a similar idea to try for my sump. I have a bashea that has a 7 inch sock holder. Maybe I’ll see if the can do a circle type tray I can drop in place of the annoying socks and just use filter pads or floss like u.

Price wise, $. $$. $$$. $$$$. Or $$$$$$$$$$? :)

All good otherwise?

Maybe Matt can make you a 7" filter cup? https://octoaquatics.com/octo-cup/

If you attach a pic to the quote form, I'm sure the two of you can come up with something that will work. All things considered, I think the price was very reasonable for a custom acrylic box, magnet, and shipping. I'd say 1 1/2 dollar signs :P
