Good size pump

In my experience the sicce pumps have a high failure rate (or a short lifespan).

I have three (a 0.5, a 1.0, and a 1.5). Two of them have failed in under a year (one of those replacements a also failed in under a year).
They have a good warranty, and replace them upon failure, but every time one fails it's still a hassle.

I still have them, and they work, but I do not trust them for anything critical so I use one in my salt mixing station and the other for my algae scrubber (the third is a backup that I swap in when one of the others fails).

I've been using a jebao dwc-1500 since december 2023 and it's been good so far but I haven't really had it enough to say how durable it is in the long run. I don't know if I would suggest that one or not. It's probably stronger than you want - but it is nice having a dc controllable pump.

I suppose the sicce work well enough if you keep your old pump close by in case of failure.
