Day one of reefi seems pretty good lights up 60% of my 800 sq foot bedroom well!

Check with some of the 3D printer guys on this forum. They may have or be able to make you a shade which will reduce the light spill. The height of the light also looks way too high to me. Typically, lights are 8-10” off the surface.
Agree on getting that ballast off of the floor.
