What an experience, how does that style compare?

Yes it was an awesome experience! The style is Sak Yant temple tattoo from Wat Bhang Phra in Thailand, it is more for a blessing/protection than decoration. 2500 yr/old ink recipe consists of various herbs, specific type ash, and...snake venom to make bacterial and viral static..totally painless!!!! I have a few tats and I can say all of them hurt!

The monk even had this special oil my wife had to rub on tattoo when finished and was 100% healed in 3days

Thanks for sharing, that's very cool. Do you have a pic of the finished product? I'd love to see it.

Awesome tattoos everybody, you guys have spent some time in the chair for sure!

Looking good man, love the dragon.

Here's one my my wife just got.

I'll bite on the thread... The "Reef Frenzy" guy has a full back piece of St. Michael defeating Lucifer..... from my days in the PD since St. Michael is the patron saint of LEO.

This was the inspiration....

Thanks Dennis, my buddy Kevin did it. Ive known him since we were young kids and his artwork has always made mine look really bad. I was just admiring your koi in the other thread, how many hours did you sit for it. Absolutely love it man, the color choices are spot on.

Thanks, Brett!
That piece was 16 hours in the chair. I live in Houston but flew to NY for that one. Since I was flying in, we did the whole thing in two trips. I'd fly in friday, sit in the chair 4 hours on saturday and 4 more on sunday, then fly home. B/W the first trip, color the second.
It was a biatch doing the second day each time. lol

These were taken right after so still bloody (the red band on the bottom of the pin is blood) lol. I twitched on the bowling pin :( but she is going to redo the outline next time.
