I am converting my native tank to a tropical reef tank and looking for ideas to rid my tank of gracilaria. I dont want to kill everything on the ornaments or else they would just get powerwash them or a bleach bath.

I was thinking a tang but really don't want one.

The algae is also growing in between zoa polyps preventing them from opening. I would want to get rid of that algae without killing the zoas. To save the zoas I was thinking of a h2o2 hoping the algae will die and not the zoas.

Any suggestions? Thanks.
