What do you think of these? They started out brown (as many of my other Grandis have) but now I see some light blue showing, as they open wider.

I have them. At first I thought they were cool because they were huge polyps. But now I can't stand them ... cause they're huge polyps. haha.

They take up too much space and grow pretty fast. I moved mine over to my BioCube.

Same here. I thought I lucked into something, but they never went any further than that... I still have a few and think, hey they could be a morphing grandis, but I think I'm dreaming...

I am sure there is, I was just wondering if it was you. I think they got a killer deal. 3 nice polyps for $50

definitely not grandis....i have them too...got them on a bali shipment...brown as heck, but light blue centre.

Those grandis are from the pacific, the caribbean grandis are different and have bigger polyps like these

they are indeed from the pacific, but you can't call them grandis :)....they're just a very big paly....lol!.....p. grandis has a specific morphology...they're from the caribbean, much larger diametre oral disk, and the coenenchyme is almost a beige/off-white colour, among other differences.

dang nice grandis morph there, Questin!

here's mine....a bit of an older shot...it's currently got a lot more colour, and the bands are more distinct....and starting to bud! :D

Darn, well I guess I'll have to love them for what they are... They're keeping my Mantis shrimp entertained--that's where all the brown stuff goes.
